How could I forget about Valve lol, I pray Half-life 3 will follow in it's predecessors footsteps and be cutting edge on PC.
We have lost Crytek and now id to the consoles thank f@#k we still have Dice and CD projekt red on our side.
I'm loving the game but the mixture of average and very bad textures is a huge put off and I'm running 16k textures. Graphic options will help but the game needs a complete texture overhaul. The sacrifices made for 60fps on consoles is clear to see, it's like the hole engine is written around a low memory budget.
They actually say to use the nvidia ver 258.38 BF3 drivers but to disable Sli as its not supported, force v-sync on in the driver control panel. For low res textures out side enable GPU Transcoding and try the tweaks suggested here..

I own the PC and Xbox version and while the new lighting is great the pop-in and framerate on xbox is awful. Yes Crysis is on consoles and thats a great achievement, does it look better than the PC version NO.

R3 is sub HD and has a poor framerate. Yes gears framerate dips but the lowest it goes is 24fps which is the average framerate Crysis 2 runs on the PS3.

Is it me or are those old screens and most of them are from the PC version. Theres no indication that any of them are from the 360 version.
Rage's 3rd Disc is the multiplayer content that doesn't need to be installed! So basically the install on Xbox is around 14.6GB for the single player.

I noticed if you own a EA game you can activate it on origin which is pretty cool. Just enter the CD key in the redeem code section.
